How Can I make it easy for my patrons to find Comics Plus in MackinVIA?
There are a couple options for making it easy for your patrons to find Comics Plus inside their MackinVIA!
1. In your MackinVIA account, set the Start page to "Databases".
This is where Comics Plus is located inside of your MackinVIA account.
2. Create a Group that contains just Comics Plus and add this as a Featured Group on the MackinVIA Home Page.
Then set the default Start Page to Home. You can move the featured group so it is at the top of the page, then when patrons log into MackinVIA that will be the first thing they see. This is a great option if you do not want your home page to be Databases.
How Can I link to Comics Plus outside of MackinVIA?
Your library has a unique Comics Plus URL. You can link this URL to one of our Comics Plus buttons and place it on your Library Website.
When your patrons click your library Comics Plus link they will be directed to log into their MackinVIA.

How Can I link to a specific title within Comics Plus?
To share a link to a title within Comics Plus, simply go to the summary page of the title you wish to share and copy the URL . This URL can be placed anywhere you want! Your website, email blasts and promotions are great ways to share titles. You patrons will be directed to log into their MackinVIA account after clicking the link. Once they click on Comics Plus, they will be automatically logged in and redirected to the title you shared.
How Can I link to a category or list within Comics Plus?
To share a link to a category or list within Comics Plus, simply go to the page you wish to share and copy the URL . This URL can be placed anywhere you want! Your website, email blasts and promotions are great ways to share lists and categories of interest. You patrons will be directed to log into their MackinVIA account after clicking the link. Once they click on Comics Plus, they will be automatically logged in and redirected to the category or list you shared.
